We have started into the New Saison 2017

The olive harvest November/December 2016 is since several weeks behind us. While the many sun-starving tourists enjoyed the rainless period from May to mid-November, this drought had not done well to the maturing process of the olives. Olive Trees are accustomed to little rain, but such a long stretch of thirst is not a particularly good thing for them. Nevertheless the position of our olive trees near the sea side has rewarded us end 2016 with a somewhat smaller harvest, in liters, but with an excellent quality despite weather caprioles.
